AIllinois Missing Persons Task Force Missing Persons Awareness Network NFP has created a project called ILLINOIS MISSING PERSONS TASK FORCE. A task for is defined as A temporary group of people formed to carry out a specific mission or project, or to solve a problem that requires a multi-disciplinary approach. This group will be consistent of experienced, licensed and/or certified individuals and groups collaborating on Missing Persons cases and laws that need to be addressed and changed in Illinois. We are looking for a round table of these individuals to join forces with those across the state of Illinois to work on missing persons cases, address the laws and protocols on missing persons cases, and change these laws as they are currently defined in order to better serve the community. We state that there is no true database listing all children and adult missing persons in Illinois. We recognize that any services created for missing persons is lead by law enforcement on city/county/state/federal levels. We are aware that every department, team and organization have several lines of red tape when it comes to receiving, giving and sharing any pertinent information for missing persons cases that could lead to solving the case and finding them. We also recognize that law enforcement is limited by needed access such as hospitals, rehab centers, morgues, mental facilities, cell phone records, gps availability, social media records, jurisdictional rules, and many more issues. Because missing persons cases are drastically high in count, and needs have not been met by their families, loved ones or the community, it is best to work with this non-government organization and collaborate across jurisdictions, better communicate relative information among law enforcement agencies, work more diligently with the public in which law enforcement serves, collect information that will better serve as to how best to protocol these cases, and work with state officials in changing laws to better serve the communities across Illinois for our missing persons. We are asking for your commitment in joining our project to be a part of this change. Be the voice. Join forces. All law enforcement (agencies, individuals, teams) on all levels (City/County/State/Federal), SAR teams (Water, Ground, CERT, Air, Drones, Dogs, etc.), and any other certified, licensed, official organizations that work missing persons cases to contact us and join our forces with Missing Persons Awareness Network NFP.
